What is Leadership Legacy Experience?

Leadership Legacy Experience is a year-long program at UConn Storrs for undergraduates committed to personal growth and leadership development. Since 2007, it has offered a unique journey of self-discovery through small-group workshops, fully funded off-campus experiences, and one-on-one mentorship.

Participants build practical leadership skills in a close-knit cohort of 10–14 peers while exploring their values, strengths, and leadership styles. With nearly two decades of alumni support, the program fosters lasting connections and meaningful growth. Admission is by application only; learn more below!

Note:
The Legacy program runs from January through December each year. To be eligible for the 2026 cohort, you must be available and enrolled for the entire 2026 calendar year.
